Who are Spreadex?

Spreadex are one of the more distinctive bookmakers in the UK market, and that distinction comes from their origins.

Founded as a spread betting company, Spreadex built their reputation on financial and sports spread markets before expanding to offer traditional fixed odds betting alongside this.

That dual offering is available through a single account and remains their defining feature and sets them apart from virtually every other UK bookmaker.

Are Spreadex's odds any good?

On the fixed odds side, best odds guaranteed is available, which protects you if you take an early price and the SP drifts bigger on the day.

If I was to pick out a strength from these, then I would choose cricket betting, with an excellent range of markets to choose from.

When comparing the odds for upcoming domestic fixtures, Spreadex once again ranked well, not the very best, but certainly close to the top across the games we looked at.

The spread betting angle adds another dimension here too. Cricket spread betting, covering runs, wickets, and match totals, is another area where the format excels and where Spreadex's dual offering becomes a genuine advantage over standard bookmakers.

Spreadex Payment Methods

When it comes to payment methods at Spreadex, their list of available options is a little smaller than some other brands.

The good news is that all major options are covered, but they do offer fewer, and that may affect some players.

Debit card payments, the most popular option, are covered here and you can also make a direct deposit via your bank account too.

Alternatively, the only type of e-wallet payment is to use Apple Pay, if you’ve got an Apple device.

Withdrawals are made via a debit card or bank transfer, again this is smaller than some other brands in the UK market.

When you’re withdrawing back onto a bank card, with most banks, you’ll have the cash back within two hours, which is a great service. However, some don’t accept faster payments, so this then reverts to the standard 2-5 days. Bank transfers can take up to two days.
