Superbowl LV Betting Preview
The greatest show on turf comes this Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Superbowl 55.
The Chiefs are reigning champs after a win last year, and when that came, with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and the weapons he has around him, it was expected to be the first Super Bowl of his career, not his only one.
He goes up against one of the games greats, Tom Brady, who moved to Tampa Bay for one last roll of the dice this season. He’s taken the team to a Super Bowl in that first season, showing that the 43-year-old is still a force to be reckoned with.

The talk before this game will all be about Mahomes and Brady, and that is fair, as they are going to decide who wins this. You have to question whether Mahomes will handle playing a Super Bowl against Tom Brady, and the weight of pressure on him, but anyone who has seen him play for the past couple of seasons, knows the answer is yes.
In terms of weapons, Mahomes also holds the advantage with who is the best, but Brady holds the advantage with depth and more options. Look for Mahomes to throw a lot, with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce being his main targets. Brady has Mike Evans, Antonio Brown and Chris Goodwin, giving him more options, and they have the better run option in Leonard Fournette, with Chiefs main back Clyde-Edwards Helaire struggling with injuries.
More options will make Brady tough to defend against, while the quality of options is an advantage for the Chiefs. What we can say is that this game will likely see a lot of points, with both teams focusing and spending much of their money on their offensive players in the line up.
They both know they can win games with average defence, which may be good enough to win here too, so don’t be surprised if the game is a bit of a shootout, despite the importance and the nerves that will be there for those involved.

As for a winner of the game, we have to side with the Chiefs. Both teams have an exceptional quarterback, but Kansas have a couple of elite receivers who we think will dominate the game and prove to be too strong for the Bucs defence.
