Weekend Treble 17th & 18th April

The FA Cup takes place this weekend, but despite that we have some very good looking Premier League football matches spread across Saturday and Sunday. With points at a premium at both the top and bottom of the league, we focus on the games that matter for our treble bet.
Newcastle v West Ham
The first game we have our eye on is Newcastle v West Ham. The Magpies are struggling at the bottom and desperately trying to avoid relegation while West Ham have a chance to get into the Champions League, which would be huge for them.
West Ham have been conceding recently, even if they have been winning games and that is the basis of our first selection. We think West Ham have enough to win this game, but with defensive struggles continuing, we are going to back West Ham to win and both teams to score in this one.
Newcastle can get on the board, but ultimately it won’t be enough to beat a West Ham team that are really making strides and impressing right now, even if they still look a little suspect defensively.
Wolves v Sheffield United
Sheffield United are already thinking about the Championship next season, and recently they have been very poor. Wolves may not quite be at their best right now, but did pull out a 1-0 win over Fulham last weekend, a team who are also down the bottom just as Sheffield United are.
With the poor play we have seen from United recently, we think Wolves can dominate this by getting out and taking the lead early to show their quality advantage over The Blades. If this happens, Sheffield United don’t appear to have the quality to get back into the game, even though Wolves are struggling a little.
What we are going to do with this one is back Wolves/Wolves on the HT/FT market, we fancy them to score early and not let go of their lead at all throughout the game.
Manchester United v Burnley
We round off our weekend treble with the game between Manchester United and Burnley. United come here on the back of four straight wins while Burnley have lost their last two and that includes a loss to lowly Newcastle last weekend.
Not only do we have the gap in quality between these two, but we are seeing United play some of their best football and Burnley struggle to get points on the board. With that in mind, this has the makings of a very strong United performance and a win to match that.
To add a little value to the regular win line, we are backing a Manchester United win to nil, we think they have enough to not only win this game but keep Burnley off the scoresheet as well.
